A PRAYER TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE

My God,

I come before you today seeking guidance and clarity in finding my purpose. Lord, you created me with a unique plan and purpose in mind, and I long to fulfill it. Your Word tells me that you have plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Help me to align my heart with your will and discover the path you have set before me.

Lord, I ask for wisdom as I seek to understand my purpose. Your Word says that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask you, and you will give generously without finding fault (James 1:5). So, I humbly ask you to grant me wisdom and discernment in recognizing the purpose you have for my life.

Fill me with your Holy Spirit, Lord, so that I may be empowered to fulfill my purpose. Your Word reminds me that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13). I pray for your strength and guidance every step of the way.

Help me to trust in your timing, Lord. Your Word teaches me that there is a time for everything, and that you make everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:1,11). Grant me patience and perseverance as I wait for your perfect timing to unfold my purpose.

Lord, I surrender my own desires and plans to you. Your Word tells me to commit my ways to you, and you will establish my plans (Proverbs 16:3). I lay down my own ambitions and ask that you reveal your purpose for me, knowing that your plans are far greater than anything I could imagine.

Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. I trust that you will lead me on the path of purpose and use me for your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
