Most people are not confused about what God wants. They are avoiding what He already made clear.

Most people are not waiting on God.

They are waiting for what God said to feel easier.

That is the part nobody says.

Everyone talks about “seeking clarity” like God is being mysterious. Meanwhile, He already spoke, and we just did not like the cost attached to it.

So we slow it down.

We say things like “I’m praying about it” or “I just need peace on it.”

No, you don’t.

You need to decide if you are going to obey.

Because if it was something easy, something that didn’t touch your comfort, your money, your image, your relationships, you would have moved already. You would not be sitting there trying to process it.

That pause you feel when it gets real, that is the moment everything gets exposed.

Not your knowledge. Your allegiance.

Here is where it hits harder than people expect.

Most people think they have a discipline problem.

They don’t.

They have a throne problem.

Something is sitting in first place, and it is not God.

You can tell instantly what it is. Just look at what you protect when obedience starts to cost you.

If telling the truth risks how people see you, and you pull back, then approval just took the lead.

If doing the right thing hits your income and you hesitate, then money just stepped in front.

If you know you should move and you stay where it is comfortable, then comfort is running the show.

People don’t like hearing that. But it is clean. It is obvious once you stop pretending.

And it does not stop there.

Let’s talk about “waiting on God,” because that one gets abused constantly.

There is a difference between God being silent and you stalling.

Most of the time, it is not silence.

It is delay.

And delay has a pattern. It sounds spiritual, but it always shows up the same way.

You already know what to do, but you start stretching time.

You think about it longer than necessary. You talk about it instead of acting on it. You circle it instead of stepping into it.

Why?

Because moving forward is going to cost you something, and you are not ready to pay it.

So you buy time.

And you call that wisdom.

It is not wisdom. It is resistance with good wording.

Then you have the people who say they follow Jesus.

But if you watch their actual decisions, they are still in charge.

They will obey as long as it lines up with what they already wanted.

As long as it does not disrupt too much.

As long as it does not get too uncomfortable.

That is not following.

That is asking God to agree with you.

Following means you do not get to control the outcome.

That is the part that separates people fast.

Anyone can say they trust God when nothing is on the line.

Very few will do it when it actually costs them something real.

And then there is the last one, which is the easiest to hide behind.

“I’m a good person.”

“I care about people.”

“I would never hurt anyone.”

That sounds nice, but it means almost nothing if there is no action behind it.

Real obedience shows up in movement.

In speaking when it would be easier to stay quiet.

In stepping in when it would be easier to stay comfortable.

In doing what is right when there is no benefit coming back to you.

Most people live in intention.

Very few live in execution.

That gap right there is where everything falls apart.

Here is the truth that will either sharpen you or offend you.

You already know more than you are living.

This is not about learning something new.

This is about facing what you have been avoiding.

So if you want to get honest, here is the simplest way to check yourself, and it will not let you hide.

When you are in a moment where you know a decision matters, ask yourself this.

What is really driving me right now

Am I moving or am I stretching this out

If this costs me more than I want, am I still in

And what am I actually about to do, not think about, not plan, but do

Answer those straight, without cleaning them up, and you will see exactly where you stand.

No confusion.

No guessing.

Just truth.

And most people are not ready for that, because it removes every excuse.

But if you are, it will change how you move immediately.

Because now you are not playing games with yourself anymore.
