The Christian life explained

You must not forget this message because I can tell you, you already know it. Right now, you may be sitting there, maybe in your home or somewhere else, and you feel completely frustrated with your circumstances. Life may feel out of control, and you might be wondering if peace is even possible. I want you, just for a moment, to consider this. If Jesus said something, do you not think it is true? If He spoke these words, we can trust them because He is the Son of God.

Think about this. Many people in the world do not believe in Jesus. Yet if you asked them to name a single sin He ever committed, they could not. Not one. Some may say, “I know He was a good man, but how good was He?” The answer is that He was so good He never sinned. Never made a mistake. There is something unique about Him. And there is. He is the Son of God.

Now here is the beautiful truth. This Son of God has chosen to live within your life and my life through the presence of the Holy Spirit. This is not theory. This is reality for anyone who accepts Him.

So what is the Christian life? Let me say it clearly. The Christian life is the acceptance of Jesus Christ as my personal Savior through faith, trusting in His work at the cross, where He shed His blood to bring atonement for my sin. That is the foundation. Then, through the Holy Spirit, He indwells me. The Spirit’s responsibility is to live out the life of Jesus through me. That is the mystery and the miracle of Christianity. It is not primarily what we do. It is what He does through us.

So what is my responsibility? It is simple. Yield to Him. Yield to His Spirit. Align with Him. As long as there is oneness with Him, there is peace. When I resist, when I disagree with Him or try to do things my way, that peace disappears. Does it get any simpler than that?

It is simple but not always easy. True peace comes from Jesus. Stop fighting against Him. You are no longer His enemy. You are no longer under wrath. You are no longer separated from Him. You are no longer without peace. Peace is yours. It is available for the asking. It will not disappoint you. That is why the Bible calls Him the Prince of Peace, the ultimate source and giver of peace.

It all comes down to one thing. A personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. That relationship is the source of deep, continuing peace that carries through every day, no matter what your circumstances look like.

Father, we are so grateful that Your Word is full of amazing truth. You have made it simple yet powerful. I pray, Holy Spirit, that You will speak to every person who hears this message. Remind them that this is not just my teaching. It is Your declaration. Your promise. Your reality.

You have said, “In Me is peace. My peace I give to you.” Let every listener understand this. When they accept Christ as Savior, the potential for peace becomes a living reality in their hearts. As they choose to surrender to Him, they can face every day, every challenge, and every circumstance with supernatural, indescribable peace.

Holy Spirit, stir this truth in their hearts. Ring it in their ears. Provide whatever is necessary for them to put it into practice, to claim it, and to walk in it daily. Let them experience the power of the Prince of Peace. In Jesus’ name, amen.
