The World Isn’t Just Lost — It’s Demonically Delusional:This Is Not What God Intended
We are not living in ordinary times. This world, as it stands today, is not a minor deviation from God’s plan. It is the complete inversion of it. The culture we see, the values we hear preached from every corner of society, the standards upheld by governments, media, education, and even many churches are not aligned with heaven. They are aligned with hell.
Everywhere you turn, truth is trampled. Righteousness is ridiculed. The fear of God is mocked. And yet the masses walk headlong into the abyss with their fists raised in pride, believing they are free. This is not progress. This is rebellion. This is not evolution. This is corruption. What we are witnessing is the moral insanity of a world that has not only forgotten God but is actively working to erase Him from every sphere of influence.
Paul warned us in Romans that this would happen. He wrote that the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness. The suppression of truth is not passive. It is active. It is deliberate. It is strategic. And it is everywhere.
What else can you call it when people claim that men can become women and women can become men, and everyone is forced to go along with the lie? What else can you call it when killing unborn children is praised as healthcare, and those who defend life are labeled extremists? What else can you call it when the celebration of sexual perversion is seen as courage, but preaching the Word of God is called hate?
This is madness. This is confusion. And God is not the author of confusion.
From the very beginning, God created order. He separated light from darkness. He distinguished land from sea. He created man and woman. He defined good and evil. He established law, justice, and morality. He declared that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. But in our arrogance, we have declared independence from God, and in doing so, we have lost our minds.
We were warned. Isaiah declared, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil.” Yet here we are. Drag queens are invited into schools to teach children, but prayer and Scripture are banned. Pornography is protected speech, but biblical truth is labeled harmful. Children are told they can choose their gender, but not believe in Jesus. That is not neutrality. That is war against God.
We live in a society that exalts rebellion and persecutes righteousness. Jesus said this would happen. He told His disciples that the world would hate them because it hated Him first. He said that those who live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Yet many Christians today seem shocked by opposition. They hide their faith. They conform to culture. They stay silent when God has called them to speak.
Romans 12:2 is not a suggestion. It is a command. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” The word “conform” implies shaping yourself to fit the mold of something else. That is what the world wants. It wants us to fit in. To blend in. To compromise just enough to be accepted. To keep our faith personal and private while they make their wickedness public and celebrated.
But God says no. He says come out from among them and be separate. He says touch not the unclean thing. He says be holy as I am holy. He says wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many go that way. But narrow is the gate and hard is the way that leads to life, and few find it. The question is, which road are we really on?
Look at the fruit of the world’s rebellion. Depression is skyrocketing. Suicide is epidemic. Families are disintegrating. Gender confusion is rampant. Crime is increasing. Trust is evaporating. And people are more medicated, more anxious, and more spiritually dead than ever. For all our supposed progress, we are sicker, lonelier, and more divided than any previous generation. This is not what God intended.
He intended for men to lead their homes in righteousness, not abandon their children. He intended for women to nurture life, not terminate it. He intended for marriage to reflect Christ and the Church, not to be redefined into whatever the flesh desires. He intended for children to be raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord, not indoctrinated with confusion and perversion.
God intended for nations to be governed by justice, not corruption. For leaders to fear Him, not mock Him. For churches to preach truth, not popularity. For pastors to warn the sheep, not entertain the goats. But we have flipped the entire system upside down. And now we wonder why judgment is coming.
Judgment is not just future. It is now. Paul said that when people refuse to acknowledge God, He gives them over to a debased mind. That is exactly what we are seeing. Minds that cannot reason. Eyes that cannot see. Ears that will not hear. People living in darkness, calling it light, and scorning anyone who shines the truth.
But here is the greater tragedy. The Church has largely gone silent. The salt has lost its savor. The light has been hidden. In the name of love, we have tolerated lies. In the name of unity, we have allowed compromise. In the name of relevance, we have become irrelevant to heaven.
We were never called to fit in. We were called to stand out. We were never called to blend with culture. We were called to confront it. Jesus did not die so we could be safe and comfortable. He died to make us holy and bold. He said if anyone would come after Him, they must deny themselves, take up their cross, and follow Him. That is not a call to comfort. That is a call to death. Death to pride. Death to compromise. Death to conformity.
This world is headed for destruction. The signs are everywhere. And yet God in His mercy still calls people to repent. He is still saving. He is still forgiving. He is still raising up a remnant who will not bow to the idols of this age. But the time is short. The deception is deep. And the cost of silence is eternal.
Christian, you must choose. Will you follow Christ or culture? Will you fear God or man? Will you speak truth or stay silent? You cannot do both. You cannot serve two masters. You cannot straddle the fence. Elijah once cried out, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him.”
That cry still echoes today. But who is listening? Who will rise? Who will stand for truth when the world demands lies? Who will preach the Word in season and out of season? Who will contend for the faith once delivered to the saints? Who will love God enough to be hated by the world?
This is the hour of separation. God is drawing a line in the sand. The wheat and the tares are growing together, but the harvest is coming. The sheep and the goats walk side by side, but the Shepherd will divide them. The true and the false, the holy and the profane, the faithful and the fearful are being revealed.
Do not be deceived. God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. If you sow to the flesh, you will reap corruption. If you sow to the Spirit, you will reap life everlasting. The world sows flesh. The world reaps chaos. But we are not of this world. We are citizens of heaven. We are ambassadors of truth. And we must live like it.
You were born for such a time as this. Not to hide. Not to conform. Not to compromise. But to proclaim. To shine. To endure. To overcome. The darkness is great, but the light of Christ is greater. The lies are loud, but the truth is stronger. The insanity is deep, but the Word of God is eternal.
So preach the Word. Live the Word. Stand on the Word. Refuse to bow. Refuse to blend. Refuse to be silent. This world is not what God intended, but His people must be who He intended them to be.
Because the only cure for this madness is the truth of God. And the world desperately needs to hear it.
