You Are A Holy Minority. That Is Exactly Where God Wants You.

If you feel outnumbered, good. You are in the right story.

Jesus never said you would be the echo of your culture. He said you are the salt of the earth. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.

Salt is noticeable because it is different. Light is obvious because it is opposite to darkness. If you blend in completely, you are doing something wrong.

God is not looking for a cultural majority. He is looking for a faithful remnant. Men, women, and young people who quietly, courageously live out His righteousness in their daily lives. Not with a bullhorn. Not with a political crusade. With a life that looks different where it counts.

Proverbs 11:11 says it this way. By the blessing of the upright a city is exalted, but by the mouth of the wicked it is torn down.

Upright lives are like hidden pillars holding up more than they know. You have no idea what your faithfulness is preventing. You have no idea what your obedience is holding together.

So here is your role in the moral and spiritual future of your land. Every time you tell the truth when lying would be easier. Every time you honor marriage when others treat it lightly. Every time you protect the vulnerable when they are ignored. Every time you speak the gospel when it is unpopular. You are pushing back disgrace. You are welcoming God's smile. You are being a pillar.

Paul told the Philippians to be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, shining as lights in the world.

And Peter said this. You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession. Why? To proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Nations may rise. Nations may fall. But a holy people who walk with God will shine forever.

So do not be discouraged by the numbers. Be encouraged by the assignment. You are a holy minority. And that is exactly where God wants you.
